Ballpark Snack Macs

Green Monster Mint Chocolate Macs

Green Monster Mint Chocolate Macs
These macs are for this month's mac tweets, which was a baseball theme. I made mint chocolate ganache from mint in my garden. I was initially worried that you wouldn't taste any mint because I haven't tried flavoring cream before, but they are minty!

These macs are 100% flaxseed. I tinted and flavored them with pink lemonade koolaid powder from an envelope. When I opened the oven door on the first batch a waft of hot lemonade drifted out. These babies have a strong taste of lemonade and I hope to experiment with other kool aid flavors in the future.

  1. I have to say that pink lemonade is perfect for a ballgame, isn't it? I love the flavors! And chocolate and mint? Like Thin Mints? Yes please! Yay thanks for baking with us at Mactweets this month!

  4. Thank you both!
This challenge was hard for me to think of until I decided on green and then looked out into the garden and saw mint. I can't wait to see what everyone else does!

  6. Ahhh...a Red Sox fan. OK, I like the strawberry lemonade macs better lol The Green 'Mawnstah' macs really are genius. Great job, from a Yankee MacTweeter ;)

  7. Wow, you've been ambitious this month for Mactweets. :-) 2 yummy macaron flavors. I like how you put the Red Sox background for the organic mint macs to reinforce the sporty theme. Flaxseed macs sound unique, too! Great job! Can't wait to see what ideas you come up with for next month's challenge.

  8. Thanks everyone, I have to be a Red Sox fan as I'm from MA originally...I think they treat the water for it there!
