I made these for an after work get together, I'm hoping they're as good as they smell, it was chocolatey torture to photograph these! I guess the chocolate mint aroma was trapped in the cake carrier all evening!

Peaches and Cream Macaron
These delicious beauties were actually made with Costco peaches as my peaches weren't 100% ripe yet. I made some peach preserves and combined them with HiCookery's Cream Cheese filling. These are my contribution to this month's Fruit Challenge over at MacTweets.

Grillin Out!
This weekend I grilled up some cupcakes, while wearing my new apron. I made this apron out of two half yards of fabric and used almost every last scrap of the pink and have just enough of the cupcake fabric to start saving squares for a scrap quilt!

McDo Macarons at the Louvre
Macarons at "McDo" in the Louvre. This is where I bought my first Parisian macarons. I have to say they were pretty good!

On our bus tour we were supposed to shop in a department store, but the captain and I ventured out and found the famous Pierre Herme macarons. It was a sight to see!

Six lovely macarons, which sadly I left until the next morning, and due to the heat they were totally soggy.
Luxemburgerli in Lucerne
If that's not a mouthful I don't know what is! Here is a bigger than life representation of the luxemburgerli, which are like swiss macarons. They are a bit more petite and thus look more filled than Parisian macarons but they probably have the same height of filling, just have a smaller cookie
